Woman killed in Atlantic Beach school bus accident ID'd

An Atlantic Beach woman was struck and killed by a school minibus Thursday morning as she tried to cross Beech Street on her way to work, police and witnesses said.
Nassau County police said Gloria Moreira, 56, was hit near Vernon Avenue at about 7 a.m. as she headed for the N 33 bus stop.
