The Five Towns Community gathered to celebrate Lag B'Omer at the Andrew J. Parise Park formerly Cedarhurst Park, an event sponsored and organized by Chabad of the Five Towns. the Highlight was the fabulous show by "The ARIELIST ACROBATS" , and there were activities for all ages, Petting Zoo, Archery, Races, Bubble bonanza and of course a giant bonfire and music by Azamra DJ.

This past Sunday , Congregation Beth Shalom of Lawrence celebrated it's 60th Anniversary dinner. Members and non-memebers came from far and near to show their appreciation for the shul and for the Honorees.
This years honorees Guests of Honor are Drs. Lisa and Sheldon Feit and the Chacham Lev Awardees are Helen Friedman, Barry Gurvitch & Neil Osrof.
