Easy and Delicious Chicken Soup

1 chicken leg or 3 drumsticks or 4 wings
3 carrots
1 onion
2 zucchinis
1 leek
Salt and Pepper to taste
Tumeric
Cook the chicken in water to release the fat.
Place chicken on the bottom of a 6 quart pot. Add vegetables and water to cover. Add salt and pepper.
Tumeric is a great spice. Add flavor to the soup and extremely healthy.
Boil soup then simmer for 3 hours.
Potato Burekas

1 package square cut puff pastry
5 medium potatoes, cubed
1/2 onion, cubed
1 egg yolk
oil for frying
Thaw pastry.
Cook potatoes for mashing.
Fry onion in oil till golden.
Mash the potatoes and place in the golden onions. Combine till the potatoes absorb oil and onions.
Fill each square of pastry with in spoon of potato mixture. Fold in the middle.
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Beat egg yolk and brush it on top of pastry.
Place in oven till brown.
Great Challah

1.5 oz dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1 cup oil
1 cup honey
1/2 cup sugar
2 TBSP Salt
5 eggs
1 cup seltzer
2 cups water
14 cups flour
In small container place dry yeast with warm water and 1 TBSP sugar. Let rise.
Place the remain ingredients besides flour in a machine bowl or regular bowl. Once yeast is ready add it and continue kneading, then add the flour and knead an additional 10 minutes.
Once ready, put 2 TBSP oil on top of the dough and cover with dump cloth. Leave to raise.
Separate the challah with a brocho, braid it and bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Simple Cheesecake

1 8z cream cheese container
1 vanilla yogurt
3 TBSP sour cream
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Graham Pie Crust
Preheat oven to 375 Degrees.
With a hand mixer, combine the 7 first ingredients and place in pie crust.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 dash salt
1 1/2 stick margerine
2 eggs
1 Tbsp Vanilla
1 cup dark brown Sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
12 oz chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix the margerine at room temperature with the sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix till creamy. Add chocolate chips.
With a tea spoon fill a cookie sheet with aprox. 12-15 cookies and bake for 10-12 minutes.

Ingredients:
* 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh pineapple
* 1/2 cup chopped red sweet pepper
* 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
* 3 tablespoon lime juice
* 1 tablespoon snipped fresh cilantro or chives
* 1 tablespoon honey
* 1 small fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
* 1 1-pound fresh skinless salmon fillet, 1 inch thick
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
